The terms that apply when you use this website

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website operated by Dr Antonio Creta Cardiology (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.

2. Medical Disclaimer

The content on this Site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to be, and must not be relied upon as, medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Always seek the advice of a qualified medical professional with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on this Site.

Information about procedures, success rates and recovery times reflects general experience and may not apply to your individual case.

3. No Doctor–Patient Relationship

Use of the Site, including submitting an enquiry through a contact form, does not create a doctor–patient relationship. A doctor–patient relationship is established only after a formal consultation has been arranged and Dr Creta has personally assessed you.

4. Permitted Use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You must not:
use the Site in a way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, the server hosting it, or any connected system;
introduce viruses, trojans, worms or other malicious material;
scrape, harvest or otherwise extract data from the Site by automated means without our written consent;
impersonate any other person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, photographs of clinical settings and the underlying source code — is owned by or licensed to Dr Antonio Creta Cardiology and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.

You may view, download and print content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, republish, modify, redistribute or commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission.

6. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (for example Doctify, hospital pages and professional bodies). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of those websites. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement.

7. User Submissions

Information you submit through enquiry or contact forms must be accurate and not misleading. Do not submit sensitive personal data that is not relevant to your enquiry. We treat all submitted information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Availability of the Site

We aim to keep the Site available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict the Site without notice for maintenance, security or operational reasons.

9. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Subject to the above, to the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude liability for:

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dr Antonio Creta Cardiology, its staff and contractors from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

11. Professional Regulation

Dr Antonio Creta is a Consultant Cardiologist registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and is bound by Good Medical Practice. Details of registration can be verified through the GMC's online register at gmc-uk.org.

12. Complaints

We aim to provide a high standard of service. If you wish to raise a complaint, please contact us in the first instance at pa@drcretacardiology.com. Complaints unresolved through our internal process may be escalated to the Independent Sector Complaints Adjudication Service (ISCAS) or the relevant regulator.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
