Withings, Samsung, Fitbit and other consumer ECG devices.

How to submit ECGs

  1. Export the ECG as PDF from the relevant app
  2. Note the date, time and symptoms at the time of recording
  3. Submit the file securely via Dr Creta's consultation team
  4. Receive a written expert report, typically within 1–2 working days

When this service is appropriate

  • Investigating suspected arrhythmias detected by a wearable
  • Reviewing repeated symptomatic episodes
  • Confirming AF or other rhythm abnormalities
  • Reassurance regarding benign findings

Limitations

  • Single-lead ECGs are not a substitute for a 12-lead ECG
  • Some arrhythmias cannot be reliably diagnosed on consumer devices
  • Remote review does not replace clinical assessment when symptoms are severe
  • If you experience severe symptoms — chest pain, collapse or prolonged palpitations — seek urgent medical attention.
